The Friends of the Bloomfield Public Library is a not-for-profit organization separate from the library with a mission to support and enhance the programs and services of the Bloomfield Public Library. The steering committee meets the second Monday of each month at 6 pm at the library; new members are always welcome!
The Friends do several annual fund raisers and are always looking for new ideas. The Annual Book and Bake Sale and Chicken BBQ is typically held the first weekend in May each year. The Friends also do a fund drive mailing in the fall.
