On Tuesday, May 20th, 2025, there will be two propositions on the Bloomfield Central School Budget Vote ballot regarding the Bloomfield Public Library. The library is asking for a $6,359 increase to the tax levy from last year for the Bloomfield Public Library. There is also an election taking place for one expiring term on the Bloomfield Public Library Board of Trustees, for which incumbent Emily Meade is running for re-election.
Voting will be in the LGI room at the Bloomfield Middle High School from 7am-8pm.

2023-2024 Proposed Budget

The Bloomfield Public Library is asking residents of the Bloomfield Central School District to vote on the library’s 2023-2024 funding. The library is asking to approve a $187,980 tax levy. This represents an increase of $3,685 over the base amount of $184,295 that was approved by voters in 2022. The Library Budget Resolution will appear on the same ballot as the Bloomfield Central School District budget.

The vote will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, from 7 am to 8 pm at the Bloomfield School District’s Operations Center located at 1 Oakmount Ave., Bloomfield, NY.
