The Library Budget Vote will take place at  BCS District Operations Center located at 1 Oakmount Ave., Bloomfield, NY, from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, May 212024. The library is asking voters to support a $320,218 tax levy, which represents an overall budget increase of $132,238 from the 2023-2024 fiscal year. This library tax is estimated to be $0.49 per $1,000 of assessed value. The Bloomfield Public Library located in the Village of Bloomfield, in the Town of East Bloomfield serves the residents of the town as well as those of the Bloomfield Central School District.

The library was chartered by the State of New York in 1968 and the current building was built in 1988.

The Bloomfield Public Library is a member of the OWWL Library System with access to both the OWWL catalog and the OWWL2Go digital catalog giving its patrons access to the collections of 42 member libraries.
